The Indoor Kids’ Happy (Season) Ending

On the season finale of The Indoor Kids on the Nerdist Channel, Adam Pally of ABC sitcom Happy Endings hits the couch to shoot some NBA 2K12 video hoops with Kumail, who has an interesting line of trash talk. And then Emily trades Kumail for Dwight Howard. No, actually, that’s not true. She got Rashard Lewis’ expiring contract. No, not that, either.

Remember, while the video version takes a break, you can listen to fresh Indoor Kids podcasts every week right here.

  • And now for something completely different:

Funny episode! I WILL be using Kumail’s trash talk online. Great job on the series guys! Looking forward to Season 2.

    P.S. Batman+Minecraft+Garbage Pail Kids=Epic Coffee Table

  • I came out swinging because I thought the whole podcast was funny and your entire comment was one big complaint. A complaint about a part of the episode that didn’t last very long.

“What if another ethnicity had made such comments – the crowd would have stoned them to death”

My point about the confucius joke stands. It was funny, and Adam Pally is not asian. Why pick the jewish thing apart? It was harmless.

    • I didn’t mention the Confucius thing – bc it was one comment- fine let it slide in the name f a joke- the “Jewish thing” was an extended set.

Did we listen to the same podcast??

  • @ ericmci I’m offended that you’re making the effort to be offended by the Jewish jokes and not the asian/ Confucius jokes. How completely uncomfortable do you have to be in life to not make fun of yourself every once in a while?
    It’s either that or selfishness.

    • You really came out swinging with that one. “completely uncomfortable” Wow I didn’t realize were friends that you were someone in a position to know me so personally.

I didn’t phrase my comment as an attack it was a comment informed by a what I thought was a degree over the line perhaps of humour vs being crass.

Again this is my “opinion” and a small point that you failed to understand- What if another ‘ethnicity’ had made such comments – the crowd would stoned them to death.

FYI- I am not Jewish. I just thought it was edging towards too much vs it’s value in funny.

  • If an non Jew had said even a fraction of what Adam said here-
there would be a riot somewhere.
The it’s ok – I am one- got stretched pretty far here.
Some of it just wasn’t even funny.
    A joke is a joke- but…
