SET LIST: Jason Manford
By Jake Kroeger on November 1, 2013
Set List is continuing its travels abroad, challenging comedians around the globe to come up with jokes on the spot about a topic they’ve never seen before or probably thought of (knowing Set List creator Troy Conrad personally, he does make extra effort to make sure the topics are something that have not been conceived of comedically before).
This latest episode features UK comedian Jason Manford, who is popping his improvised stand-up cherry at the world-renowned Edinburgh Fringe Festival, a festival, much like Set List, where almost anything goes. After hosting numerous TV shows — even one that was the UK’s version of Last Comic Standing — a successful comedy special, and gearing up for a now current tour First World Problems, Manford had to deal with something perhaps a little more difficult, like doing a bit about a topic he couldn’t understand.
