Nerdist: Play – Remastering The Masterpiece, THE LAST OF US
By Malik Forté on July 29, 2014
Shameless cash grab, lazy, unnecessary – these are just a couple of the words that are commonly associated with remastered games. Whatever you’ve always hated about remakes, chances are that your mind is about to be changed by The Last of Us Remastered. The original game was arguably the closest we came to perfection during the PS3 era, and now Naughty Dog has taken on the daunting task of revamping the award-winning game for the PlayStation 4.
On today’s episode of Play, I give a mini-review of The Last of Us Remastered, as well as the details on Naughty Dog’s secret reveal at last night’s The Last of Us: One Night Live. But before that, we’ll take a look at some of the 104 ways to die in Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time.
I asked folks what the best survival horror game was, and here were the cream of the crop of answers that didn’t make it into today’s episode.
@Malik4Play Silent Hill 1 or 2. Fatal Frame's a good option as well.

@Malik4Play Dead Space 1. Most "complete" survival horror game IMO
