Go Behind the Volume with THE ADVENTURES OF THE SWEET ELECTRIC

Robots, rejoice! We’re only one day away from the Nerdist premiere of Liam Lynch’s wonderfully weird new show, The Adventures of The Sweet Electric. Lynch, creator of Sifl and Olly, has used his powers for glam rock good to bring you interstellar rock ’n’ roll robot band The Sweet Electric. The new series will follow the David Bowie-esque androids as they traverse the galaxy in their tour ship (“The Wandering Thunder”), and get into all sorts of intergalactic shenanigans.

You’ve heard from Lynch himself; now, take a look at the origins of The Sweet Electric with a brand new episode of Beyond the Volume. Host Don Gibbs caught band members Victor, Robbie, and Shay Roller via satellite to find out more about the band’s cosmic beginnings, how they’d describe their sound, and the advantages of being a robot rock group.

The Adventures of The Sweet Electric premieres Tuesday, September 2 (that’s tomorrow!) right here on Nerdist.
