TEEN WOLF Renewed For 20-Episode Season Five
By Merrill Barr on July 24, 2014
For the last five years in a row, MTV has taken San Diego Comic-Con by storm with their hit supernatural drama, Teen Wolf. This year, the network even went above and beyond the call of duty by giving the series its very own booth on the show floor (#3729). Earlier, the series panel wrapped up and with it, we got some fantastic news:
Teen Wolf has been officially renewed for a two-part fifth season consisting of 20-episodes. In addition, fans can watch an all new mid-season trailer for the fourth season on the MTV app for iOS and Android right now.
This is great news as, just like the last three seasons, the series has been firing on all cylinders this year. Especially now with the added element of the Beacon Hills dead pool list and the search for the benefactor, anything could happen. The new trailer promises a whole lot of crazy, and just a hint of sexy, which we’re totally on board for.
Back at the end of last season, Jeff Davis stated he asked MTV to order a single run season this year so he could have a break from the previous 24 episode order. Well, based on this news, it seems the executive producer/showrunner is all rested and ready for another round of wolfy goodness.
Also, if you’re so inclined, from 11:30am -12:30pm tomorrow, the cast will be available for a signing at the Twentieth Century Fox Home Entertainment booth (#4229). Don’t miss it!
Teen Wolf airs Mondays at 10pm on MTV.
