Gold Bubble Clothing Launches SHERLOCK-Inspired Line
By Amy Ratcliffe on July 7, 2014
New installments of BBC’s Sherlock aren’t coming our way until late 2015. It’s a long time to wait for more of Benedict Cumberbatch and Martin Freeman as Holmes and Watson, but you can scratch your Sherlock itch with some snazzy clothing designs from Gold Bubble. You could say they’re… elementary.
The Sherlock Holmes line is inspired by the stories from Sir Arthur Conan Doyle and the imagery from the television series. You can dress like an apartment by wearing the 221B door design or donning a print featuring Sherlock’s wallpaper with the yellow smiley face. Pair a 221B top with wallpaper leggings for the full apartment cosplay effect. Other styles are inspired by Sherlock’s iconic Belstaff coat and the text that pops up on screen as Sherlock thinks. You can get the various designs on A-line dresses, leggings, and poncho tanks.
The below gallery features a sampling of pieces in Gold Bubble Clothing’s Sherlock collection. Prices start at $69 for the leggings and poncho tanks and go up to $79 for the dresses. Add a deerstalker cap to any of the items for an easy everyday cosplay look.
Each item is made from a polyester and spandex/lycra blend which means the fabric is flattering but also stretchy and comfortable. The line will only be available for a limited time so if you’re eyeing anything, it’s better to purchase it as soon as you can before it disappears. Orders for the Sherlock Holmes line will start shipping in August.
