Daniel Radcliffe’s SDCC-Bound HORNS Gets a Creepy Teaser Trailer
By Alicia Lutes on July 15, 2014
In a moment we’re comfortable calling downright Kafkaesque, Daniel Radcliffe has awoken one morning to find strange horns sprouting from atop his head. Oh yeah and his girlfriend has also mysteriously died, so of course our newly devilish protagonist is catching all the blame. At least that is the premise of the actor’s latest film, Horns, of which we now have a teaser trailer.
This is, of course, a horror tale based on Joe Hill’s mysterious dark fantasy novel of the same name (he of the incredible Locke & Key graphic novel series), turned into a flick by none other than director Alexandre Aja himself (you know, the guy who did The Hills Have Eyes and Mirrors). In it Radcliffe plays Ig Perrish, the boyfriend of Merrin Williams (Juno Temple) who, following her gruesome end is met with a bevy of diabolical powers that “bring out the worst in people,” and have made him a super-duper social outcast. The film premiered to positive reviews at last year’s Toronto International Film Festival, so we’re already looking forward to the U.S. wide release (which is still to be determined).
The film co-stars Temple, Heather Graham, and Max Minghella alongside Radcliffe.
What do you think of the trailer? Gonna head to the Comic-Con panel (which will be, might we add, Radcliffe’s FIRST time ever at SDCC)? Let’s discuss in the comments.
