Bruises and Bad News in Character Posters for SIN CITY: A DAME TO KILL FOR
By Charles Webb on May 5, 2014
A quartet of new character posters for Sin City: A Dame to Kill For are making the rounds, showing off the “heroes” of the second Robert Rodriguez/Frank Miller joint.
Up top, you can see Josh Brolin’s Dwight, sporting a different face from the one he was wearing in 2005’s Sin City (where he was played by Clive Owen). Dwight’s story provides the title for the sequel, as the tough-talking, gun-toting anti-hero rushes to save old flame Eva Green (300: Rise of an Empire, Casino Royale) from her abusive husband.
Then there’s Joseph Gordon-Levitt’s Johnny, a banged-up gambler on a mission to take down one of Sin City’s biggest criminals. That never really goes well for anyone involved.
Finally, we’ve got another look at two returning characters in a pair of illustrated posters: Jessica Alba’s
Goldie Nancy is back, along with slow-thinking murder machine Marv (Mickey Rourke).
Sin City: A Dame to Kill For will be out August 22nd.
