Sony Reveals PlayStation Now-Enabled Bravia TVs

Sony has just revealed its latest line of Bravia televisions that support the upcoming game-streaming service PlayStation Now.

As reported during CES, the new Bravia 4K Ultra HD TV sets will allow gamers to play PlayStation 3 titles without needing a connected console. Instead, using Sony’s Gaikai streaming service, PS3 games will stream directly to the 4K television sets. All you need is a DualShock 3 controller to play.

The TVs aren’t cheap, with prices starting at $2,100 and going as high as $25,000. Pre-sales for the Bravia TV sets are going on now.

With new technology like PlayStation Now streaming on television sets, do you think we’ll see a PlayStation 5 console after the PS4 has run its course? Let us know what you think and if you’ll upgrade to a 4K TV in the comments below.
