See Chris Hardwick All Over SF Sketchfest This Weekend
By Perry Michael Simon on February 7, 2014
You know that this weekend is a busy one for Chris Hardwick at SF Sketchfest, and that the Nerdist Podcast live show is sold out. But you still have a chance to see Chris do his thing — a wide range of things, actually — live and in person anyway, if you act quickly.
Here’s what he’s up to:
Sanjay and Craig Live
Chris (a/k/a Craig the snake) will join Maulik Pancholy, John DiMaggio, Matt Jones and Nolan North, co-creators Jim Dirschberger and Jay Howell, and executive producers Chris Viscardi and Will McRobb PLUS special guest performer from Nickelodeon’s Legend of Korra and the Nerdist Podcast Network’s The JV Club Janet Varney. They’ll perform an episode, and then there’s a Q&A and the premiere of a new episode. Wow. That’s on Saturday, February 8th, 11 am (PT) at Kanbar Hall at JCCSF. And you can get your tickets at half price if you use the code “NICK.”

Revenge of the Nerds 30th Anniversary
Chris will moderate a panel about the iconic movie with cast members Curtis Armstrong, Timothy Busfield, Robert Carradine, Andrew Cassese, Julia Montgomery, Larry B. Scott and Brian Tochi on Saturday, February 8th, 8:30pm, at the Castro Theatre. 30 years already?

Bring The Rock with Greg Behrendt and the Reigning Monarchs
This might be the highlight. Greg Behrendt’s gathering of comedians and musicians who mix their talents to great, hilarious effect will include Chris along with Bridget Everett, Bobcat Goldthwait, Karen Kilgariff and Matt Nathanson for a special SF Sketchfest edition. I’ve gotten to see Bring the Rock shows in L.A. and it’s a great time, and Greg’s band The Reigning Monarchs is pretty great, too. This one’s on Saturday night, February 8th, 10:30pm, at Cobb’s Comedy Club.
Tickets for that? Here.
So have a Chris Hardwick weekend at SF Sketchfest. Super Bowl weekend had nothing on this.
