The Most Intentionally Funny Video of The Day 1/7/14: Lizzy Caplan Imitates Rage Faces
By Jake Kroeger on January 7, 2014
Michael Bay walked out during a presentation at CES because he couldn’t handle a broken teleprompter. Even worse than that, he said he’d wing it, then actually couldn’t wing it in front of hundreds of people as well as all of the Internet, it would seem. As much as people seemingly are reveling in the polarizing director unraveling live on stage, this probably will have zero effect on ticket sales for the next Transformers. A guy known for explosions isn’t going to disappoint his fans by doing something that has nothing to do with explosions. While that is absolutely the unintentionally funny viral thing of the moment, balance out your cynic with watching today’s Most Intentionally Funny Video of The Day.
Today’s MIFV is the delightful Lizzy Caplan imitating “rage face” memes on Paul F. Tompkins’ web series Speakeasy. The juxtaposition of delightful and rage tips the scales all the way back to delightful, especially with both Caplan and Tompkins.
Here’s the previous MIFV pick, in case you missed it.
