Cosplay Friday #39
By Matt Cohen on August 2, 2013
It may be hot outside (and humid, and sunny, and the floor is lava), but that doesn’t mean you can’t cool off with a refreshing virtual glass of cosplay goodness in a column I like (and am contractually obligated) to call Cosplay Friday. As always, I’ve hunted and gathered the best, brightest and most bizarre cosplay stylings from the four corners of the interweb, and have wrangled them here for your enjoyment. Take a seat, take a deep breathe, and get ready to relax away the day, in true Cosplay Friday fashion.
Coco Bandicoot is equal parts nostalgically awesome, and equal parts nostalgically terrifying, rendering her nostalgically awesomefying.
It’s the age-old tale of girl meets stuffed penguin with tag still visible, in this Clannad cosplay.
I’ll give it to the producers of the newly announced Terminator reboot; this new model truly strikes fear into the hearts of all men. (Thanks to H-i-t-o-m-i)
A really fun Cammy cosplay; alpha, turbo, hyper edition 2.
I’d say that door is successfully guarded, all right. (League of Legends has never looked better)
Final Fantasy VII: Yoga Children
Sometimes, a good cosplay is just a good cosplay. This Princess Serenity cosplay is a FANTASTIC one,
And the new Doctor is… the old doctor! Take that, legion of devoted Whovians of whom I consider myself a part!
Jane and Trent, spending some of that fat Daria cash.
John Cena said “You can’t see me!”, but this time we didn’t quite believe him. (Where are my WWE fans at?) (Oh, it’s just me?) (Credit to SharyNyanko)
