ea-logo-black-723x250We’re at the EA press conference with all the razzle, dazzle and blinding lights that implies.

1:01 – Peter Moore, Chief Operating Office for Electronic Arts is welcoming everyone to the download. EA is only showing PS4 and Xbox One.

1:04Plants Vs Zombies: Garden Warfare‘s first look. Garden Warfare is a 3rd person action title starring your favorites plants and zombes from previous games.

1:06 – You will start play as the classic Peashooter and can plant allies through out levels. The first level we’re seeing is the Zombies home mansion.

1:07 – The Cactus fills the role of team sniper, while Sunflowers are your machine gunners, not just sun generating buddies anymore.

1:09 – The first boss wave is the classic Disco Zombie and Gargantuar, a massive Zombie that carries Imp Zombies .

1:10Plants Vs Zombies: Garden Warfare will launch on Xbox One first.

1:11MOAR TITANFALL!!!! Coming to Xbox One, PC and Xbox 360. The beautiful looking for more on Titanfall check out our Microsoft Media event update.

1:12 – The goal was to create a full single-player campaign in its multi-player experience.

Titanfall

1:14 – EA has created new software engines specifically to take advantage of the tech leaps the PS4 and Xbox One. EA Sports Ignite and Frostbite 3 from DICE. The next few games we’re seeing will run on these engines.

1:15STAR WARS: BATTLEFRONT! We just saw a short clip of Hoth and the foot of an AT-AT stomp the snow covered battlefield.

1:16Need for Speed Rivals everything starts with the rivalry between cops and racers. All Drive is a way to play the game in 1st person, multiplayer and online seamlessly and get the same experience.

1:18 – The races can start as two individual single player races and then merge to end in a multiplayer race, mid-game.

need-for-speed-rivals1-1024x5761:20 – The races merge seamlessly and a 3rd player can provide overwatch from a 2nd screen device.

1:21 – Aaron Paul is here talking about Need for Speed, the film from Disney. We are seeing our first look at the film. We’ll get video as soon as available.

1:23 – Dragon Age Inquisition: Aaryn Flynn says the game will be a completely new RPG experience as you lead an Inquisition to bring justice to the land.

1:25 – Stylized and pretty, it is the next logical step in the Dragon Age franchise. You are in the middle of a magic filled war and it doesn’t look like you’re side is winning.

1:26 – EA Sports time! Powered by EA Sports Ignite will power the entirety of the sports line.

1:27 – NBA Live 14 – Beat poetry and video of a player from Cleveland dribbling. Is NBA Live 14 a poetry based game?

1:28 – Apparently the game is adding dribbling controls to the series. In the past it’s lacked depth of control. Bounce Tek will fix that.

1:29 – The game will finally allow creativity and self expression… through dribbling?

1:31Madden  25: The smoothest and most authentic action to date. Realistic running games with upgraded foot placement, player shifts and AI that lets the player move his team like pro players.

1:32 – Adrian Peterson is the coveted cover athlete this year. May the odds be ever in his favor.

1:35 – FIFA ’14 – yeah, we get the same game every year, but this one looks markedly prettier thanks to the Ignite engine.

1:37 - Who knew that Drake was such a big FIFA fan? He must have had a lot of downtime during those Degrassi shoots.

1:39 - Well, that was the easiest paycheck Drake ever made. On the other hand, there’ll be a playable version of FIFA ’14 on the show floor.

1:41 - Mother of god, they actually got Bruce Buffer, the “Let’s Get Ready to Rumble” guy’s brother to introduce Benson Henderson (UFC Lightweight champ), Jon Jones (heavyweight champ). As you may have guessed, it’s board shorts and facepunching time for EA’s UFC.

1:43 - “Fighting’s in our DNA. We get it and we like it!” Whatever you do, don’t disagree with this guy.

1:44 - Doing motion capture for this game must have been the worst job imaginable.

1:46 - Okay, the graphics do look pretty impressive. It also looks like the world’s most aggressive cuddling simulator.

1:47 - And in case you didn’t have enough throbbing bass in your life, the Battlefield 4 guys are back talking about a term they call “Levolution,” their catch-all term for the feeling of capturing “all out war with up to 64 players.”

1:48 - The team is wisely bringing series staple Commander Mode back, which gives you a top-down interface where you can order air strikes, drop supplies and issue troop orders both on your console or on your tablet device thanks to integration with Battlelog.

1:49 - Oh my god, they had 64 players behind the curtain the whole time? It’s a secret LAN party! Now, we’re going to watch Alex and his 5 man squad try to take the control points. Let’s hope they have an experienced pilot.

1:50 - The gameplay doesn’t look that different from Battlefield 3; even the new Shanghai map resembles the popular Metro map from the current gen game.

1:51 – Scratch that – they took out a support pillar and destroyed a tank by dropping it from the road above. Destructible environments are a savvy new addition.

1:52 - While we’re probably never getting a Jet Moto reboot, the fact you can ride Ski-doos in Battlefield 4 is a nice consolation.

1:53 - Commander used a remote missile to destroy tanks targeting team’s position high up in a tower.

1:54 - Despite the inevitable deluge of DLC and premium packs, Battlefield is looking as solid as ever. Now get back to work on Battlefront!

1:55 - DICE has one last surprise…something fans have been asking for for a while. What could it be?  MIRROR’S EDGE 2!

1:56 - This HD parkour action looks insane in the Frostbite 3 engine. Tagline: “Coming…when it’s ready.”

1:57 - That does it for EA, folks. 11 new titles. We’ll have more in-depth coverage as the week wears on, so keep your eyes on the site and hit us up on Twitter using the #NerdistE3 hashtag!
