Cat Science

by on April 3, 2013

ellascowlingASAP Science did this three minute video on “The Science of Cats,” and as the loving owner/caretaker/parent of Ella the World’s Most Famous Cat, it’s stuff I find fascinating.

Watch this thing and you’ll learn how cats’ noses are like fingerprints, why they react the way they do to catnip, how much of their day is devoted to doing nothing, why they land on their feet, why they lift their tail and rub their butts against you, why they bury their poop, why they see better than you do in dim light, and why they purr. In other words, the essentials.
