I think the biggest problem with the Onion joke was that it really was kinda lazy. She really was acting a bit like a prima donna that night. Had they said something like, “Looks like Judy Garland reincarnated into black girl this time around,” or something remotely creative, it would have been different. Instead they went for the “dick joke” for an easy laugh.
The topic you mentioned has my full attention.
