I love Nerdist stuff, but I really really wish everyone would be aware of talking over each other. Jonah is awful at it. This podcast is probably the worst one at this yet. Not just talking over and interrupting the other Nerdist guys but the guest too.
This podcast made me laugh uncontrollably on my bus ride home, causing strange looks and an unusual new fetish for key sound effects.

Oh, right I almost forgot. I’m glad I’m not the only one who made the Fred Schneider/Jello Biafra connection.
Ben is a hero to me. I am currently performing improv in the same city where he went to college, and take classes at UCB. I wish him nothing but the best. Also, it was a nice to have everyone in the same room for at least a little bit.

Of course Grand Admiral Thrawn would be great. Mara Jade such a character, I’d love to see her brought to life. Would have to be 3 films at least though.
I have never seen “House of Lies”, but when Ben was describing it, it sounded a lot like “House of Cards”, actually. Kevin Spacey is pretty much lying the whole time, then turns to camera to come clean and tell us exactly what he’s doing. Seems only logical that they merge and make one mega-show.
I was driving home when it got to the keys bit. I’m so glad I was sitting in traffic because I was laughing so hard I probably would have swerved off the road.
Not to sound mean but I like the way the House of pies song ends with Chris getting cut off in the middle of what sounds like a solo.Whether is was an editoral decison or legitly the CD running out. Its very funny.

I can’t understand why AOTS, etc., are still in their time slot even though they’re re-runs. Guess that will come to pass in another month.

The key jingling reminded me (and this will show how old I am) of the Mr. Jing-a-ling song. You’d have to have grown up in Northern Ohio during the the BI era (Before Internet) to know about that holiday retail classic.

Hey Matt, did you watch Pushing Daisies? It had a pie shop called the Pie Hole with a crust roof. Also other stuff. Although it had a hint of magic, so you wouldn’t probably like it. Dang, I wish that show wasn’t cancelled.

I’m excited that JJ is doing Star Wars. But you know who I would love to see direct a Star Wars film, Alfonso Cuaron. He did a great job with Harry Potter 3 and Children of Men. I think he’d do an excellent Star Wars film

Y’know, I’ve heard so much talk of this window that Joel McHale and Joan Rivers and others have walked by and pounded on, waved behind, etc. that I need a picture to visualize this. Next time you guys are recording a hostful, do you think you could have Kyle or someone take a pic with the window in the background, and you guys at the mic table in the foreground? I’d love the visual. That would be super duper if you did that.

@Aaron – That’s actually a good idea. I hereby request similar pics of the Nerdist recording booth(s?) in Meltdown comics. I saw a bit of one in a Vine video featuring Pete Holmes and he’ll sometimes make a passing reference to something on the wall, so photographs would be great.
