Nerdist was started by Chris Hardwick and has grown to be a many headed beast.

Building Up To “The Nerdist” TV Show: Chris Answers Tweets, Plays Pictionary, Matt Writes

chrispeopletv2013Are you ready for The Nerdist on Saturday night on BBC America? Perhaps these random tidbits will whet your appetite:

First, Chris answered some questions from Twitter for People magazine. It’s not yet embeddable here, but you can see it by clicking here.

Then, he took on How Was Your Week host and New York Magazine/Vulture’s Julie Klausner in a pop culture Pictionary battle:

getgluethe_nerdist_new_season_premiereYou into GetGlue? Click here on Saturday to check in and unlock the sticker. I guess that’s what you do. I don’t do GetGlue, so I dunno.

And, finally, our own Matt Mira wrote a blog post for BBC America in which he discusses the making of the new show, including what to call Jenna-Louise Coleman, why he didn’t watch any of the episodes of the first run of the series, and more. Read Matt’s post here. Why won’t he write like that for US, huh?

Anyway, once again, do not miss The Nerdist on Saturday night, 10/9c, following the half-season debut of Doctor Who and the series premiere of Orphan Black on BBC America’s Supernatural Saturday. (And The Nerdist on Sunday at 7/6c/5p in Canada on Space)
