Doug Jones (Hellboy, Pan’s Labyrinth, a million other movies, shows, and web series) joins Holly and Jessica of Crabcat Industries on the Nerdist Channel’s Try This at Home for a lesson in DIY monster making.

  2. Please give both Andy Serkis & Doug Jones special Oscar Awards for their work in motion capture as well as being underneath practical special effects make up *btw, great episode) !

  4. The bonus segment was interesting, and it made me think of a suggestion for your DIY series. Instead of editing your stuff to fit into one episode, or one episode and a bonus ep, why not plan for a an outright minisode. Something like a “plan and scoping with a light refreshment” ep, then a “gather and consult with some experimental drinks” ep, finally the “big reveal with some bubbly” ep.
