I was there. Good times.
There’s no such thing as a bad “Beyond Belief,” but the smaller, significantly quieter Nerdmelt crowd made this episode seem a little bit more slick and studio-recorded somehow. Moreso than any of the other Thrilling Adventure Hour serial performers, it really feels like PFT and Paget play off the Largo crowd’s energy in ways that add extra life to the script, and somehow that was missing with this more “select” audience.
Okay, so at this point it’s impossible to believe that Paul F. Tompkins and Paget Brewster are NOT having an affair, right?
