I’m your nerd host, Chris Hardwick
Nerdist is a place where we nerds come together and share the nerdery that we find. It's also my home to various elements of the Nerdist Empire. You might recognize me from TV. You don't realize that's where you know me from, but it is. You think you went to college with me or I look like your cousin's friend, but that is not the case. At one time or another you stumbled upon me on your moving picture box in such cerebral gems as MTV's "Singled Out" and Noam Chomsky's "Shipmates." and so much more...

Hey, it’s the Pi episode! Who will be the guest on March 14th?
@Three Toes of Fury – SLOW CLAP for, well, ALL of your posts and for once again stepping into a void left by most of the Complaint Unit for Nerdist Trollery, or C.U.N.T. Just Jetpack Blues and I here and since C.U.N.T. is Matt Grandis’ mons…er, creation, I cannot officially anoint you into the C.U.N.T. crew. Maybe I’m JUST high enough among the C.U.N.T. to proclaim you a Clever Little Internet Trollcrusher, or C.L.I.T.! Yes, C.L.I.T.s! Who doesn’t like C.L.I.T.s? C.L.I.T.s can be fun! C.L.I.Ts are very useful and can make your friends happy! Trolls better run when a C.L.I.T. rears its head! In fact, everyone on the internet everywhere should give a big, wet sloppy kiss to C.L.I.T.s! Maybe rub them on the head (they REALLY like that)!
Sincerely,
Patty Marvel
Assistant to the Complaint Unit for Nerdist Trollery
a.k.a. Ass. C.U.N.T.
P.S. C.L.I.T.s!!!!
When he started doing Alvin’s voice in How to Train Your Dragon (I love that TV show AND the movie), that blew my freakin’ mind!! I mean, I’m a Star Wars fan, but I think I’m a bigger fan of HTTYD. That was SOOOOOO unexpected. ♥ ♥ ♥ it.
Great interview Chris Hardwick. I believe you brought the best out of Mark. I was 8 when Star Wars hit the screens so you can only imagine my life-long fan experience. Hearing Mark allowed me to relive some incredible memories. I will check out more of your broadcasts.
I have one question: Was Mark smoking off the set? The gravel he has in his voice is usually reserved for people who have been chewing through cigarettes for many years. Just curious.
Is there a reason (or fix) for why the Podcast app for my iPhone killed this episode? I starred to listen to this on my phone, just like every other episode, when abruptly it stopped and is now no longer available to download from the app.
Thanks.
@Garrett – Really? I don’t have a problem getting this interview with Mark Hamil on my Android. Maybe there’s some sort of gremlin in the iPhones that hates Star Wars themed podcasts? Or maybe there’s some sort of protective pixie in MY smart phones that keeps the gremlins at bay, telling them “These are not the Androids you’re looking for. “
that was the best spent time i have ever had!
nearly died when i found out he did skips so push it in hubbies face i made him listen 2 lol.
Awesome Chris
