New “Doctor Who” Christmas Prequel Featuring Madam Vastra
by Kyle Anderson on December 17, 2012
Well, just when I thought we’d had all the pre-Christmas Whoiness we were going to get, the BBC today released this prequel entitled “Vastra Investigates,” which gives a little bit more of the backstory of the Silurian detective in Victorian London and her merry band of helpers. It also makes crystal clear what was only implied in “A Good Man Goes to War” regarding her relationship with Jenny. Never let it be said that Steven Moffat doesn’t spell things out for people.
Guess what? I’m excited for “The Snowmen,” which is still going to premiere on Christmas night at 9/8c (and 9p) on BBC America.

Said it before – will say it again:-
THIS SHOULD BE A SERIES!
Normally when something is promoted to this extent, I begin to tire of seeing so much of it. This Christmas special seems to be having the opposite effect; the more I see, the more i’m looking forward to boxing day!
Also, Jenny/Vastra = OTP!
Does anyone know a good torrent site for those who dont have BBC America
@Prototype19972 — You can buy the Christmas Special from iTunes a couple days after it airs on BBC America. Don’t rip off Doctor Who because you’re impatient.
It’ll also be available through Amazon streaming video services (probably $1.99 SD and $2.99 HD) and I’m guessing even Google Play.
