@Liam , Yah, bro, they`re fake. But they still hilarious…it`s the kind of thing that you know it`s a lie, but you want to be tricked anyway. Just like magic =P

I realized I blocked out the last 20 minutes of the movie, from when I had originally seen it some 30 YEARS PRIOR, and wondered if it would ever end. It seemed like it just dragged on and on.
A nostalgia quake, brought on by a random song played in a podcast, that turned into the equivalent of a fake orgasm.
And the video for “Everybody Wants To Rule The World” was the single most important in the world, thanks in part to too much black hash.
So I came to read the comments because lately the hosts of the Nerdist have been going on and on about all the hateful, stupid fans they have. I see no angry comments here. A lot of gushing–as I expected.
I’d say a couple of things about this: First, focus on the fact that a lot of people like your product, and the seemingly rare person who comes and insults your product.
Second, it doesn’t make sense to be so hurt by critics. You three are in a business that is fueled by criticism, and internet has not changed this nor made it anymore unbearable. People have always talked good and bad about things in popular culture. Take the good and look for good advice in the bad, and quit spending time complaining about your fans. These people tune in every couple of days, and I am certain they would appreciate hearing something else than the imminent ranting about “stupid internet posters” that are becoming a common thing.
I am so beyond on my Nerdist listening, at least three episodes. However, it seemed like the right thing to do to skip right to the Hostful. Annnnnnd….I don’t regret it.

WOODSTOCK’S PIZZA! I went to college in San Luis Obispo and loved going to our downtown Woodstock’s to get that exact hybrid dessert pizza!

I love the hostful episodes so much! Mr. Hardwick, you made my year by playing Xanadu. One of my favorite movies (yes I know it’s gawd awful) and one of my favorite soundtracks.

The whining about the small amount of negativity you get is really old. I used to look forward to hostfuls but as of lately they are repetitive and annoying. I’ll be sticking to the interviews of people who interest me.

I can’t even begin to express the joy I felt at hearing “Xanadu” at the end of this podcast. So deliciously cheesy. I play the shit out of “Whenever You’re Away From Me” by Olivia Newton-John and Gene Kelly.
