I’m your nerd host, Chris Hardwick
Nerdist is a place where we nerds come together and share the nerdery that we find. It's also my home to various elements of the Nerdist Empire. You might recognize me from TV. You don't realize that's where you know me from, but it is. You think you went to college with me or I look like your cousin's friend, but that is not the case. At one time or another you stumbled upon me on your moving picture box in such cerebral gems as MTV's "Singled Out" and Noam Chomsky's "Shipmates." and so much more...

Michelle – “Just couldn’t stop being distracted by the fact that
i could see that you were ‘dressing to the left.’”
Me – “Do I still have ‘Mandroid’ on the DVR…? I’ve this sudden urge to watch it again…”
Couple things:
I nearly screamed when you said Mel Brooks was going to be on the podcast because holy shit that’s incredible.
The zombie love story movie “Warm Bodies” is actually really interesting. The book was kind of awesome so I have my fingers crossed that they don’t twilight-up the movie. Also Rob Cordry is in it, so there’s that.
And just one last gleeful cheer for Mandroid. It was great watching it on TV. I had forgotten a few of the bits from when I saw the taping so it was nice to hear it again. Any chance we can get Jonah’s snarky reading of the taping rules on video? Because that may have been the most accidentally effective warm up ever.
I love you hostful podcast.
I want to get an “I’m a Jonah Raypist” T-shirt a dr.pepper.
P.S. Here’s the NYT restaurant review Matt reads from: http://www.nytimes.com/2012/11/14/dining/reviews/restaurant-review-guys-american-kitchen-bar-in-times-square.html?_r=0
The one-two punch of PTJ’s “Nah man, she lives with me,” and Matt’s, “It’s called the Indoor Kids,” within less than five minutes of each other nearly made me crash my car.
I just realized that the chorus to the Montell Jordan hit “This Is How We Do It” has the same number of syllables as “Pussy Talkin’ Jonah”.
Please, denizens of the interwebz. Make this song a reality.
Late comment, but I just had a chance to listen to this ep and I need to post this so I don’t keep thinking about it.
I promise, all the people complaining about the joke are fully aware that it’s wordplay. Keep it or drop it, but please stop talking like feminists are too thick to recognize a pun when we hear one.
Meant to leave that on #290, oops.. listened to them both yesterday.
