I would love to see Rob Crow from Pinback on here…he would be good on Nerdist, too. Guy’s a scifi and comic nut.
I had a similar sentiment when Yellow Ostrich covered Sharon van Etten’s ‘Love More’ in that by having a man cover it, it changes the song beyond the sound. I like both versions for very different reasons.
Saw Braid at Fest 11 in Gainesville they were great.
I have a four track recording of Braid from around ’98. The played an acoustic set in a record store. They were such a great band.
