The 5 Most Intentionally Funny Videos This Week 10/30

by on October 30, 2012

It would seem as though the Internet is going through equal amounts of anguish with the announcement of Disney buying up the Star Wars franchise from George Lucas and the devastation from Hurricane Sandy on the Eastern Seaboard. Take a moment to breathe and hopefully another one for a laugh from this week’s 5 Most Intentionally Funny Videos This Week, then realize that some film executive somewhere is already looking for some angle to make a Hurricane Sandy movie from, then maybe a few more moments for laughing re-watching the 5 MIFV.

1. Funny or Die’s Nick Wiger makes the best parody of Gangnam Style the idea of parodies with Gungan Style.

2. Submitted: Comedian Taylor Williamson just released his debut comedy album Laughter? I Hardly Know Her and this is an animated version of one of his jokes. In short, get into all of it.

3. Submitted: Tom Hanks is becoming quite the sixth man in the late night TV world. See his Halloween segment on the Colbert Report for proof.

4. Submitted: This mini documentary on the 2 year running Snob Theater music/comedy/variety show in San Francisco will hopefully encourage you to go see live shows more because of how recorded media cannot fully capture their magic.

5. Submitted: What happens if Romney wins and Big Bird is out of a job? Owen Smith has the answers. (NSFW and NSFCM-Not Safe For Childhood Memories)

Per usual, I’m taking submissions, like the four featured above, for the 5 MIFV. Same rules still apply.
-E-mail embeddable video link to [email protected] with subject line “5 MIFV Submission”
-Submit by the end of the upcoming Monday (which would be 11/5)
-Videos must be posted online (i.e. have a time stamp that says so) between now 10/30 and the end of Monday 11/5
-Don’t add any cover letters or explanations; please just send the link.
