The 5 Most Intentionally Funny Videos This Week 9/25

We’re not sure if unintentional humor is a term in any dictionary, but, if it is, they should have one of the definitions just be Mitt Romney. He just can’t seem to help falling into situations that seem like they’re written by Oscar winning political satirist screenwriter Armando Iannucci. The opposite of that is, of course, The 5 Most Intentionally Funny Videos This Week, which includes things like stand-up while hanging off a tower and misuse of time travel.

1. Tig Notaro made an appearance on Conan to open up about the tragedies that have befallen her the last few months including being diagnosed with cancer and make it incredibly funny.

2. Rory Scovel, while on the Super Serious Show at the Moontower Comedy & Oddity Festival in Austin, TX, decided to show Austin weird by opening his set by climbing a tower not at all meant for climbing.

3. One of the best “joke slingers” around, Jim Hamilton, made his late night debut on Late Night with Jimmy Fallon.

4. Comedian Nick Vatterott plays a time traveler that does pretty much the opposite of stopping Hitler by stopping into a comedy show.

5. Comedy Central sketch show Key & Peele did their take on college football player names that we’re sure are 100% real. (Editor’s note: Hey, I know that guy on the left! That’s L.A. sportscaster and friend Bill Seward, along with former Lakers announcer Joel Meyers…)

Per usual, I’m taking submissions for the 5 MIFV. Same rules still apply.
-E-mail embeddable video link to thecomedybureau@gmail.com with subject line “5 MIFV Submission”
-Submit by the end of the upcoming Monday (which would be 10/1)
-Videos must be posted online (i.e. have a time stamp that says so) between now 9/25 and the end of Monday 10/1
-Don’t add any cover letters or explanations; please just send the link.
