See the Nerdist Channel’s “Write Now! with Jimmy Pardo” Taping 10/4 in L.A.

by on September 25, 2012

It is with immeasurable pleasure that I can announce to you, the Nerdist community, that esteemed comedian and podcaster Jimmy Pardo will be hosting a show on the Nerdist Channel. Write Now! with Jimmy Pardo will feature the host of Never Not Funny with a team of writers on stage to write material for Jimmy to deliver on the fly. There will be heckling. Jimmy’s been doing a variation of this as a live show (you may have heard some of the live shows as bonus Never Not Funny episodes), and now you’ll get to see it on the Nerdist Channel.

The guest list? Greg Behrendt, Kumail Nanjiani, and Moshe Kasher will be on the show. So will Laurie Kilmartin, Josh Comers, Jon Schabl, Shane Mauss, Danielle Koenig, Dan O’Keefe, Ed Lee, Laura House, Frank Sebastiano, Jarrett Grode, Gary Lucy, and Boris Hamilton.

Oh, and if you’re in Los Angeles, you can be there to watch Write Now! with Jimmy Pardo tape episodes at ACME Comedy Hollywood on October 4th. The show will be at 8 pm that night, with tickets available in advance for just $5 in advance, $7 for a ticket plus a 20% dinner discount at Amalfi, and $10 at the door (no dinner discount). (All tickets include a dollar off one drink, but there’s no drink minimum) ACME is at 135 N. La Brea Ave., just south of Beverly Blvd. Buy tickets by clicking here. And subscribe to the Nerdist Channel to make sure you know when the show arrives online.
