I’m your nerd host, Chris Hardwick
Nerdist is a place where we nerds come together and share the nerdery that we find. It's also my home to various elements of the Nerdist Empire. You might recognize me from TV. You don't realize that's where you know me from, but it is. You think you went to college with me or I look like your cousin's friend, but that is not the case. At one time or another you stumbled upon me on your moving picture box in such cerebral gems as MTV's "Singled Out" and Noam Chomsky's "Shipmates." and so much more...

This episode disproved the notion that you need a goatee to portray your evil alter ego…all you really need is eye liner.
Remember, kids, if you’re fighting the cold, it doesn’t matter if you’re wearing a parka or its evil twin.
I loved this episode and I like the treatment your pod cast has provided. Good job!
Production note: This episode has a few continuity errors 1) when alt-Kirk first beams aboard his uniform was missing it’s insignia and 2) in engineering alt-Kirk’s phaser changes from type 1 to type 2 and back again to type 1. But why int-pick? Mudd’s Women has a boatload of errors compared to these two.
I remember Leonard Nimoy telling the story behind his creation of the Vulcan nerve pinch for this episode and how he credited Bill Shatner for really selling it on screen.
Keep up the good work – looking forward to next week. Is it here yet?
I know I’m getting ahead of things here, but with all the men trapped on the planet, and the transporter out of commission, why in the hell didn’t they just send down the Gallileo 7 shuttlecraft to pick them up??? Am I the only one bothered by this?
I mean, I know they didn’t introduce it until later in the series, but after they did, do you think the producers might have gone back and thought… “Oh yeah…”
