Saturday is the big launch of Course of the Force, the lightsaber relay from Santa Monica to San Diego to benefit the Make-a-Wish Foundation, and the folks who’ll be running segments in the relay will be getting a bag o’ stuff for their “troubles.” What stuff? First, there’s a Hasbro Course of the Force Ultimate FX Lightsaber, specially customized. That’s a great souvenir right there, but it’s only the beginning. Root through the bag and you’ll find a lot more: Sunscape LucasFilm sunglasses to protect your eyes from the Southern California sun, two tickets to Legoland California (and a Legoland hat), ZICO coconut water (accompanied by a Star Wars cup) and Popchips to keep you hydrated and fed, comics and graphic novels from Dark Horse, IDW and Top Cow, plush Angry Bords toys from Rovio, a custom Course of the Force Speck iPhone case, Halo Anniversary Series 2 figures from McFarlane Toys, Tower Chronicles buttons from Legendary Comics, and Hallmark Star Wars greeting cards, COTF stickers and wristbands, Jedi wristbands, Hasbro Fighter Pods toys, Underground Toys Sound Blaster keychains, and more.
