The 5 Most Intentionally Funny Videos This Week 7/17

by on July 17, 2012

If you are offended by fart jokes, jokes about Batman, or even, dare I say, comedy itself, then I’m not going to tell you that you can’t write your own essay explicating your perspective within the world-view and how that’s important to acknowledge your own personal line where you would take offense. However, that’s never going to stop me from posting hysterical web videos that touch on those topics and more on The 5 Most Intentionally Funny Videos This Week. You always have the option of pushing command + W/ctrl + W or not clicking at all.

1. Pete Holmes, Matt McCarthy, and Oren Brimer of Front Page Films have our vote for the best Nolan Batman parodies of all time. It’s a bold statement, but just check their take on one of the most dramatic scenes in The Dark Knight.

2. Fart jokes are possibly the world’s oldest joke as it can get a laugh without technically saying anything. YouTube’s Official Comedy delves into this claim and more in their history of the fart joke.

3. Modern Comedian is an absolute stellar look into comedians and their craft by filmmaker Scott Moran and also, in this episode, how much of an expert prankster Kurt Braunohler is.

4. Joanna Newsom’s childlike singing voice proves to be good precursor for a really fun, goofy episode of Mike O’Brien’s 7 Minutes in Heaven.

5. Submitted by Asterios Kokkinos, there’s no revenge quite like pre-emptive rejection of hot girls at Comic Con.

Per usual, I’m taking submissions for the 5 MIFV like the one featured above. Same rules still apply.
-E-mail embeddable video link to [email protected]
-Submit by the end of Monday (which would be 7/23)
-Videos must be posted online (i.e. have a time stamp that says so) between now 7/17 and the end of Monday 7/23
-Don’t add any cover letters or explanations; please just send the link.
