I’m your nerd host, Chris Hardwick
Nerdist is a place where we nerds come together and share the nerdery that we find. It's also my home to various elements of the Nerdist Empire. You might recognize me from TV. You don't realize that's where you know me from, but it is. You think you went to college with me or I look like your cousin's friend, but that is not the case. At one time or another you stumbled upon me on your moving picture box in such cerebral gems as MTV's "Singled Out" and Noam Chomsky's "Shipmates." and so much more...

Sort of following the thoughts of Juiceman3000 awhile back in the thread, Greg Proops was hilarious to listen to but he did drive me a little nuts with some of the anthro/archaology speculation (sorry archaeology nerd here). And since this is the forum for science nerds to let their flags fly, I wonder if Chris and co. could land an anthropologist, archaeologist or art history type to talk ancient history? I’m thinking someone along the lines of Terry Jones or Peter Weller?
Greg’s comment about taxi drivers reminds me of an episode of The Critic. He goes to the middle East, and gets into a cab driven by a New Yorker who explains it’s a cabbie exchange program so that drivers never speak the local language.
