I’m your nerd host, Chris Hardwick
Nerdist is a place where we nerds come together and share the nerdery that we find. It's also my home to various elements of the Nerdist Empire. You might recognize me from TV. You don't realize that's where you know me from, but it is. You think you went to college with me or I look like your cousin's friend, but that is not the case. At one time or another you stumbled upon me on your moving picture box in such cerebral gems as MTV's "Singled Out" and Noam Chomsky's "Shipmates." and so much more...

Are you kidding me? Only one hour?
So that comment seems kind of dickish when I look at it. I just mean I love the show and wish the episode was longer, not that I’m ungrateful or anything.
Hello?
Hello?
Hello?
Hellooo?
Helloo?
Hello?
Hello?
Hello?
Is that Daniel Kinno?
Hello?
Hellooo?
golden girls was on nbc lol
I stop whatever I’m doing when I see a new podcast up. I love this show.
VIDEO:
“Chris, if you mess up one more time–you’re going to have to work here TWO years. (On this show you have to work here longer if you mess up.)”
“Where are you going? I need a quack-quack noise.”
Bits from older episodes stuck in my head.
Love that Rory and Daniel are back this week. Also wish it was longer than an hour.
Ahhh I loved the Pastor bit! Not too serious, not too ridiculous. Maybe too ridiculous. But I loved it.
Don’t you just hate that Andrew Dice Clay philosophy? “Can you imagine…” No, I can’t, I’m straight, but I leave a LOT of thinking to other people.
And thank God for Daniel pointing out the “queers and homosexuals” line…I know that scholars of LGBT thought have different definitions for words like “queer” or “homosexual,” etc…but I’d love to know what a homophobic, hate-mongering priest thinks the reason for differentiating is.
Relistening to this episode I actually had to pause it right when Rory said, “Turn it off now or I’ll find you.”
I’m going to whip up an “Immaginit!” T-shirt design.
This episode was extra special to me. Thank you, Todd and friends!
Half of this week’s show was “serious talk” from some pastor? Ugh had to fast forward through it all. More funny less talky.
We love you, Rory.
I had to visit youtube and get a quick golden girls fix after getting it stuck in my head after listening to the show. Found another useless fact worthy of Kinno – the theme song was originally done by a guy named Andrew Gold in 1978.

The original is almost 5min long! Kinda crazy hearing so many more verses.
You guys almost answered Todd’s question…the most obvious right afforded Americans of ages 18-21 that was later rescinded (other than the liberty to hold others in involuntary chattel slavery) was the right to drink alcoholic libation legally. Or as the button in the latter ’60s read, “You can fight and die but can’t Drink at 18.” Well, you can still vote. Then there are 2nd amendment questions…and all that hemp…
I would love to hear a bit where Jerry Seinfeld talks to that old lady who likes Daniel Kinno
There’s a kind of hush…
