The 5 Most Intentionally Funny Videos This Week 6/19

by on June 19, 2012

OK, you got a big laugh from seeing the non-parade of L.A. Kings fans after winning the Stanley Cup this week. (EDITOR’S NOTE: Wil Wheaton would disagree. I’d disagree, too, but I’m a Flyers fan, so watching three former Flyers on a flatbed parading down Figueroa with the Cup was a little too bittersweet for me) It’s arguable whether Los Angelenos meant for that to happen and be funny, but all of The 5 Most Intentionally Funny Videos This Week are absolutely meant to be funny, though possibly conceived out of something sadder than no one showing up to your first championship.

1. It would almost seem that destiny had Conan O’Brien send Jack McBrayer and Triumph the Insult Comic Dog to the Wiener’s Circle in Chicago, a place where you have to insult to order, and, consequently comedy gold was made.

2. Chris Gethard, while trying to stay alive in hitchhiking to Bonnaroo, also attempted to make that goal harder by learning to drive stick with a vintage fire truck.

3. If you ever wondered what the worst scenario for “slipping into something more comfortable”, here it is. Submitted by Twitter based web series nitTWITS.

4. Mary Lynn Rajskub tried to chat with Damien Fahey on The Morning After on Hulu to promote her new web series Dirty Work, but is distracted by a stain on his shirt and a bloody body next to him. (EDITOR’S NOTE: Yes, yes, we know, it’s not always working. Getting the dreaded “not available”? If you’re in the U.S., try here. The rest of you? We’ll see if we can figure it out…)

5. Here’s a perfect example of why you should forget certain names of past lovers. Submitted by These Broken People (Taylor Orci & Jared Nigro).

Per usual, I’m taking submissions for the 5 MIFV like the two featured above. Same rules still apply.

-Videos must be posted online (i.e. have a time stamp that says so) between now 6/19 and the end of Monday 6/25
-Don’t add any cover letters or explanations; please just send the link
