I’m your nerd host, Chris Hardwick
Nerdist is a place where we nerds come together and share the nerdery that we find. It's also my home to various elements of the Nerdist Empire. You might recognize me from TV. You don't realize that's where you know me from, but it is. You think you went to college with me or I look like your cousin's friend, but that is not the case. At one time or another you stumbled upon me on your moving picture box in such cerebral gems as MTV's "Singled Out" and Noam Chomsky's "Shipmates." and so much more...

YES! Fake Problems is one of my favorite bands!
(Go get Real Ghosts Caught On Tape, it’s an excellent album!)

Hello? Helloooo? Hello? Helloooo? Hello? Helloooo? Hello? Helloooo? Hello? Helloooo? Hello? Helloooo? Hello? Helloooo? Hello? Helloooo? Hello? Helloooo? Hello? Helloooo? Hello? Helloooo? Hello? Rory Scovel two weeks in a row. The best.
The diminutive woman caller who mumbles and asks weird questions and only talks to Blake is my new favorite recurring Rory Scovel character.
yeah the lady caller was hilarious. i think its time to kill the cat though.
Such a great freaking time.
The language of the Sweet Caroline cut is Dutch, the ugliest language ever. Tot ziens!
This is probably the very best episode of the whole run of this show. I’ve listened to it about 3 times already. It has every thing.
An email turned into a song, the cat sings, Todd loses track of what’s going on, he screws up on some words, He sings, everyone has a good time.
I want to live in this episode.
When the cat says “blow job” …I lose my shit.
Also, “alright…this isn’t a morning radio show…play it again in 10 seconds.”
Eeesh, looks like I’ll be bailing out of this podcast after a couple of weeks of listening. The rhythm of the show never got going. Every time it would pick up and seem like its getting someplace funny or good, Todd always tells everyone to hush or to calm down because he can’t control it. Bad management all around, except for that Katie person. Love her voice! Would love to get know her “better” mmmh
“Hello? Helloooo?”
After hearing it a few times in a row it started to sound like a rusty sign swinging in the breeze.
God I love this podcast!
Can someone please tell me the name of the “hot girl” song that was played at 1:15:50?
Huge fan of Fake Problems and Rory Scovel and Todd Glass!
Erika —- The song played in the show for the “hot girl” is a song called “the girl from empanema”
Chris – Thank you so much!
