I’m your nerd host, Chris Hardwick
Nerdist is a place where we nerds come together and share the nerdery that we find. It's also my home to various elements of the Nerdist Empire. You might recognize me from TV. You don't realize that's where you know me from, but it is. You think you went to college with me or I look like your cousin's friend, but that is not the case. At one time or another you stumbled upon me on your moving picture box in such cerebral gems as MTV's "Singled Out" and Noam Chomsky's "Shipmates." and so much more...

@Doc: Word. It’s definitely great when people like to engage in creative conversation. Riffing. Philosophy. Whatever. I mean, when you think about it, when you really thi — wait a minute, this is the 51st post. Crap. This is going to start a whole new page! With that “older comments” arrow thingy link and everything! Shit. *pant pant* Crap. What do I say? What do I do??
Uh, h-hello folks. Welcome to the Nerdist podcast. This is a great episode. A lot of laughs. A sick-ass Patrick Stewart impression — you’ll see, you’ll see. So go ‘head! Download and enter Data. You’ll be glad you did. *bing!*
This is hands-down the funniest episode of the show I’ve heard. Bring back Brent as often as possible!
I have to agree with Sean wholeheartedly! This was a blast to listen to–Brent is so talented and very funny and witty! It is hard to believe he is not on tv all the time. Someone needs to write a show just for him! Or, better yet, put “Fresh Hell” on tv!!!!! Thanks, “nerdists,” for being so funny yourselves and for having Brent on the show. A great, chuckle out loud, show!!!
This has to be one of my Top 5 episodes of this podcast. Brent is SO funny and the podcast was entertaining and interesting on so many levels. I grew up on Star Trek, though I never reached full Trekkie status, and just hearing the stories about the behind the scenes things and hearing Brent’s impression of Patrick Stewart made me laugh. It was a day I really needed a laugh that I listened to this too, so thanks, Nerdist types.
Keep doing what you do.
Seriously one of my favorite interviews. Brent is hilarious and the timing between you all was great. Definitely need to do a round 2!
Side: the Sir Patrick impressions were, “spot on.”
I love you Brent Spiner, so very very much.
