When I went to college lo these many years ago, I met this guy who was the funniest person I’ve ever met. Every five seconds he would come out with these amazing, seemingly off the cuff jokes that were just about the most hilarious thing I’d ever heard. I didn’t know how he did it.
Until that summer, when I got a television for the first time and started watching The Simpsons (which had been on for about 8 years at that point). And it turned out that the freaking guy had been quoting the goshdarn Simpsons the whole time. The end.
Also, I get a sunburn every time I visit Portland. :/
