I’m your nerd host, Chris Hardwick
Nerdist is a place where we nerds come together and share the nerdery that we find. It's also my home to various elements of the Nerdist Empire. You might recognize me from TV. You don't realize that's where you know me from, but it is. You think you went to college with me or I look like your cousin's friend, but that is not the case. At one time or another you stumbled upon me on your moving picture box in such cerebral gems as MTV's "Singled Out" and Noam Chomsky's "Shipmates." and so much more...

This show just gets better and better!!
Actually in one verse of the “Feel Like a Nut” song, they DO say “Peter Paul Almond Joy…”
You muthafuckas need to listen to MIke and Tom Eat Snacks.
Another great show!
One thing…you guys are talking about addressing the political opponents of homosexuality and gay marriage….the thing is that they don’t think of being gay as an essential quality of your character.
They see being gay as a kink…more akin to bdsm….and as such, they think that people can be lured into being gay, given the right romanticism of the lifestyle.
So they think that the mainstreaming of homosexuality will increase the number of men and women who reject marriage and family to build a lifestyle around a sexual kink….which would weaken the Judeo-christian population edge in America.
Granted its all bullshit but in order to effectively argue against that sort of opinion, you have to make the effort to understand their logic….not just be dismissive.
The Commodore Barry bridge is in South Jersey that connects to I-95, in Chester county riiiiight under South Philadelphia. Used to pass it when driving between Philly and Delaware.
I don’t live in Philly anymore, (saw Todd down there twice, Blake opened for him at Helium in March) but man I applied to all of the damn Whole Foods in the area. No joke, I got one in the Northeast area (Jenkintown, PA), and I worked it for 2 days. A whole. 2. days.
Great show, always is; ups or downs.
Pete Holmes talks about the Burger King opening near the Macdonalds.
Where is Rory Scovel?
That show left me walking in the sunshine, sing’in a little sunshine song! thanx Todd,Daniel,Brandon(Ha kidding Brendon) and Crew!
If you don’t laugh during the last six minutes of this episode, than you’re probably in a coma. I hope you and your family find the strength to get through this most trying of times, and that you revive from your coma without any lasting debilitating medical conditions. I just feel awful about the whole situation really. I mean, with you being in this coma, who’s going to support that wife and three kids of yours? The whole things makes me sad really. *Sigh* Some days it’s all that I can do to get up in the morning. Anyhow. Great episode.
Awesome episode. In the middle of the talk about the Al Franken clips Todd said something in a way that made me hear a particular song in my head. I edited together an mp3 of what I heard–it’s admittedly pretty dumb, but it made me laugh.
