oh man I love the sign off! Overall the podcast is a little slow and sometimes the eating causes a bit of dead air. As for having guests it seems that your chef is sort of your guest so having an actual guest on for an interview or what not might detract from that. I’d definitely listen again once a month isn’t soon enough.
This was awesome. A little problem with hearing the chef’s voice on the beginning but it worked out in the end…. the month long wait will be agonizing though.

Karen fucking chewing her food while talking may have been unavoidable but it was INTENSELY ANNOYING AND DISGUSTING, not to mention this goddamned pretentious hipster soft-spoken chef with her fucking fake Italian accent pronunciations, don’t make me fucking gag.

Not as harsh as Kevin put it and realizing this is a podcast about eating food… When people typically have dinner conversation they will sometimes talk while chewing…they just won’t do it whisper close to your ear. Please consider at least chewing off mic if possible. Maybe you can use the guest chef interview as a buffer, while they talk you taste?
I have to agree. I love these two, but the squishy chewing and slurping noises made me turn it off. Maybe put the microphones further away from their mouths so it’s not right in our ears (some of us listen with headphones). I’ll check back next time to see if it’s been figured out.
This was a hell of a lot of fun. I love Doug Benson and this Karen Anderson seems pretty cool, too. I say keep ‘em coming.

Enjoyed the podcast. One suggestion: consider putting a mic on the chef (maybe you did as things progressed). I had a hard time hearing her at the beginning. Keep it up.

I think you should do the cheese plate each time but you should tell what types (with links) that you will be tasting so we can try them with you.

You guys rule, guests would be a cool idea, @officialswag315 my twitter, the chef sounded like she knew what shes talkin about, sounded kinda nervous, but as a total overview keep up the awesome work with the cast.
i really dig the show and i am veg so i don’t even eat what you all were talking about. i say keep it up. having guests is a good idea after more episodes (maybe have a guest choose a place to eat?) the sign off killed me.
Not everyone is meant to have a podcast I guess. I love DB and would totally listen to this podcast if he got another cohost. Karen has one of the most annoying speaking voices I’ve ever heard. So when she starts interrupting Doug and stepping on his jokes with her mouth full, I just want to punch a baby. Unlistenable. Get a new cohost Doug.
