First “Doctor Who” Series 7 Trailer… Already?

At this weekend’s official Doctor Who convention in Cardiff, attendees got a special treat. Well, they got a lot of special treats, but one in particular is they got to see a teaser trailer for Series 7, and now we get to see it too!!
If the footage looks kinda samey, it’s because only two of 14 episodes (eps 2 and 3) have been filmed so far. The Western one, for which I am very excited, was filmed in Almeria, Spain, the place where a great deal of classic Spaghetti Westerns were shot. Oh, also, the Daleks are coming back, so there’s that. We’ve got a long way to wait for the series to begin, likely September-ish, but I’m already looking forward to it.

@Rob B, that’s actually Mark Williams who played Mr. Weasley in the Harry Potter movies.
Personally, I absolutely can’t wait for Rory and Amy to leave. We know nothing about the new companion but change is definitely good.
I really like Amy and Rory, but they’ve made the most of their time on the show, and it’s definitely time for some new faces…

Come to think of it, why hasn’t Engineer #3 been on an episode of Dr Who? Sure, ya might lose money going over to do it, but come on, it’s only money, Dr. Who is forever!

Seeing Rupert “Not-out-division” Graves pumping some space-age shotgun was almost as cool as seeing Farscape/Stargate’s Ben Browder as a cowboy!

Looks cool for just two episodes of stuff, the giant robots were really sweet. Bring on more Doctor and sadly we will be saying goodbye to the Ponds. However it looks like its going to be a cool final run for them in the TARDIS!

At the same time I’m sad at the thought that Amy could be killed off. I read that she expressed not wanting to make future cameos which made me afraid Mr. Moffat would take that as an invitation to write a tear jerking exit for her. Now Rory, he’s had his time. What is he, at least twice the dotor’s age right?
