I’m your nerd host, Chris Hardwick

Nerdist is a place where we nerds come together and share the nerdery that we find. It's also my home to various elements of the Nerdist Empire. You might recognize me from TV. You don't realize that's where you know me from, but it is. You think you went to college with me or I look like your cousin's friend, but that is not the case. At one time or another you stumbled upon me on your moving picture box in such cerebral gems as MTV's "Singled Out" and Noam Chomsky's "Shipmates." and so much more...

pete i love love love this podcast but theres no need to have this repetitive heres why religion is stupid segment. the rest is perfect
Haaaaa, the Religon part is still finding its legs, we’ll get it just right soon I’m sure! Thx for listening!
Talk more about cheeze more yo!
Pete! I enjoy all the sections EXPECIALLY the religion one. Just because most comedians you interview have the same feelings on religion doesn’t mean it’s too repetitive for everyone. Keep up the crispy work!
suggestion: maria bamford!!!!!
yeah operation ivy thats the good shit; listen to jesse michaels’ thrash metal blog which is like him doing standup or characters http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9Rqi0LPSKuk
Love Steve (and Emily)- they’re like hot chocolate by a fire- just warm and friendly.
Also religion’s great. And Adventists hooked the world up with granola, so anytime they show up, even to be theological thwarted, I’m in.
Pete – The religious talk is my favorite part of YMIW. It’s what makes this podcast uniquely yours as none of the other comedy podcasts focus on it. And with your upbringing, interest and knowledge of religion your the perfect guy to do it. Keep up the good work!
I used ham & egger this weekend
I also like the religious talk.
And I have had ocular migraines! I had my first one last year. After being off antianxiety meds for more than a year, I remember sitting in the ER thinking (before my CT scan) “there is definitely a panic attack in my future…” Mine are a little different – I lose the vision in one eye gradually for about 5-10 min. Fun!
The religious talk hit me so deep. When you talked about how we would live if we didn’t fear death and God and all the what ifs. I’m going to be thinking about that for weeks. Cause I grew up similarly to how Pete did, with the religion and the fear and the guilt. And I’m still definitely on the fence of what’s truth and lie. I’m so glad this podcast is here, it really helps me to think about myself and the world and yet keeps things light with the jokes. Pete Holmes is my therapy.
