  5. The news of a third episode is great!!!!

    I work third shift five nights a week, And now on three of those nights I get to listen to a new nerdist episode to help get me through it. Thanks Chris.

    Oh and I can’t fucking wait for the Conan episode.

  10. Maybe Matt should have a time out and go work a retail job for a month again- just to remember.
    I think there is this thing when someone is new to a job that they feel pressure to bitch and moan about it like the veterans do so that -that person seems competent to their peers/part of the club.

    Don’t do that. Not with something like this- You really are living a dream, nobody wants mary sunshine around but don’t be a pisser either.

    I really enjoy the show and the contributions of all three of you to it.

  12. Im certainly not getting burned out or anything like that. A 3rd episode each week is fantastic and I think a lot of fans feel the same way. I look forward to Monday and Friday because I usually get a new and amazing Nerdist podcast, now Wednesday will be just as sweet. Each podcast episode is unique and each guest is different, so I think that kind of cancels out the ‘too much of a good thing’ theory. It is nice that your worried about our reaction to getting even more awesome free content, however this fan for one loves it. Thank you for 2 years, please keep it going.

  14. Ohhh, the middle made me uncomfortable. The kids don’t like it when mommy and daddy and crazy uncle Jonah fight. Glad it turned into basically reminding each other to stop and enjoy your burrito.

    Singer of Smash Mouth has been on an episode of Guy Fieri’s Diners, Drive-Ins and Dives. You were not far off.

  17. When Netflix changed their pricing to $7.98 for instant and $7.98 for physical DVDs I just switched to two phyisical DVDs at a time (there was too much lag on my computer for instant viewing). There are movies in my 400+ queue that have been there for years and lots that were just “Saved.” Recently a few Saved titles started to show up in my queue so hopefully they will find more of these unavailable titles hidden behind a vending machine or whatever was keeping them from me in the future.

    EACH of you earned the laughs you got in SF, no one was cheated, you all deserve all the good things that are coming your way.

    Three podcasts a week is great, especially if one is a Hostfull.

    Was at the very back of the line at the Regency. wouldhave stayed if i had known you were there that long after the show, but i’m older than chris & had a 90 minute drive home,so i crapped out around 11pm.

    Hope your back at sketchfest next year!

  22. Did you try using Levelator on the lost episode to see if it could bring up Chris’s unmiked voice? It’s always worked wonders for my group talk recordings.

    May i make a suggestion…you release the hostful podcast that got messed up…release it under the title “DONT BLINK!”….its perfect…it contains only 1/2 of the conversation….just as the Doctor’s video did in blink!

    Congrats on the growing nerdist empire…the podcasts you’ve been adding are all top notch (#CaddyshackReference) and i CANT WAIT for the April 1st launch o your youtube channel!

    BTW: this was a great and honest episode…i think it was good that you guys are direct with each other…in this case being open and honest with Matt.

    Keep on rocking this year sir! 2012 looks to be amazaballs…new comedy special…new youtube channel…and a friggin cosplay run to comicon?!? GiddeeeUp!

    As much as I enjoy you guys answering all of our quemments, I really liked this one since it’s just people have an hour long conversation about their lives and the fun didn’t die out because one of you was tired… well Matt did but it was still fun.

    All right, business at hand. Who’s take over the empty hipster seat of Jonah (kidding)? Let’s say, it has been empty for months, years even. The show is in need of a quick witted, pop culture pundant. Who will it be?

    My vote is for Senor Abalito. He has been with the Nerdcast from the VERY beginning. Still dripping, like the rest of the three, with the amniotic fluid from the Nerdcast birth. He knows something about scarves and having sex ON people. Putting any other vote for the third is foolish!!!

  30. On the news of the 3 podcasts a week, I was wondering it would be an idea to split the podcasts into hostful and interview podcasts? Personally I like the hostfuls best and only really listen to the interview ones when there’s someone on I’m interested in. So I’m kind of wasting your bandwidth by downloading them all.

    I love the podcast, I just prefer when you guys are talking together rather than someone else coming in and being interviewed.

    If its too much hassle to split it (Or you think its a stupid idea), feel free to ignore/deride this comment :)

  32. I looked into re-signing up for Netflix. Then found I had to have the Streaming service before I could get the DVD service. I only want the DVD service for the time and I don’t feel like paying almost double to have a service I don’t want anymore.

  37. Wow.. That was a very raw and intimate hostful. So, playing an uneffected mono vocal track, isolated, is like giving X-ray glasses to the mailman and then telling the mailman when your mom gets the mail, except it’s a totally different kinda thing. In all seriousness,I LOVA the show but.. that may have been close to unfair. Most singers would sound silly, presented in that way. I’ll quote Nicoli Tesla “Just Sayin.”

  41. This is officially my favorite nerdist podcast episode!!!! I was laughing so much I was crying. I had to stop exercising on the elliptical machine because I was laughing so hard.
