Matt Mira Phone Pr0n, Featuring the Very-Long-Awaited Samsung Galaxy Nexus

As you surely know by now, our own Matt Mira is now on camera doing the “Gadget Pr0n” segments on G4′s Attack of the Show, a segment helmed once upon a time by one Chris Hardwick, who you might know from everything else in the known universe. Anyway, Matt got to play with the Samsung Galaxy Nexus 4G LTE and its Ice Cream Sandwichy goodness, and he’s here joining Kevin Pereira to talk about it. He gets in a patented Matt Mira-y shot at Samsung’s somewhat static design sense, shows off how fast the thing is (very fast), and tells you whether the phone is worth the long, long, LONG wait we’ve had for it to show up. Plus, you get close-ups of Matt’s fingers, which he also uses to give his numerical rating.
You will find the Pride of Lowell doing his reviews on AOTS, which airs weeknights at 7e on G4 (on most cable systems, and regarding DirecTV, let ‘em know you want it back). I think you’ll agree that playing with gadgets and talking about it on TV is a role Matt fills very well. (We’re SO proud… sniff…)
Matt Mira you are awesome! It is great to see how much you have accomplished within the past year and it has really started setting me upon completing my own goals as well! I don’t normally watch G4 but if you are on it more often I definitely will, great job!
I got mine 2 weeks ago and lost it one week ago.
I also didn’t get unlimited data…
@Jack: That sucks. As for unlimited data, you should’ve known they got rid of that a while ago.
I got my Nexus almost 2 weeks ago. GREAT phone, but the battery sucks. Aw well. I’ll just make use of the 11000maH (not a typo) battery I got off of Amazon.

Before I bought an iPhone, I had samsungs. When I was deciding on a smart phone, the androids were nice. But I fell in love with the iPhone. This phone is really tempting.

Not a huge fan of the phone. In addition to the battery issues, it’s really slow to switch from 4G to 3G and back when it needs to, leaving me without data for 2-3 minutes at a time, fairly often.
If you don’t love Matt Mira you’re a monster. And not not the cute cartoony kind.
