The 5 Most Intentionally Funny Videos This Week 1/11
By Jake Kroeger on January 11, 2012
An unintentionally funny video would be one of two girls dancing at a dive bar with no one else on the dance floor, then me, thinking I’m going to impress them with dance moves that I have, going to join them. The second they realize my intention of dancing with the two of them, they immediately scurry off because they had succeeded in the prank they wanted to pull and I, dejected, pull off my best Charlie Brown impression walk off the dance floor alone, keeping my head down.
Nobody wants to see that, much less live it. Let’s watch intentionally funny videos where all the victims are fake or conceptual.
1. Harrison Ford watches himself in Indiana Jones for the “first time”. While this might fall under the unintentional category, the description of the video adds this disclaimer: ****TO CLARIFY – THIS IS DEFINITELY NOT A FAKE. IT WAS BROUGHT TO ME BY THE SAME VALID SOURCE AS THE ALIEN AUTOPSY & MICHAEL JACKSON GHOST VIDEOS****. That’s why this video is here.
2. An incredibly talented comedian, Angelo Bowers, passed away a week ago and, unfortunately, it appeared that there were no clips of his stand-up by which the world could remember him. Luckily, that is no longer the case.
3. Through and through, one of the best web series last year was Henry Phillips’ Henry’s Kitchen. This might be the last episode of Henry’s Kitchen ever, so we should all watch it (even if there may be “lost episodes”).
5. Tom Scharpling, for those that you don’t know, is singlehandedly going to save music videos. See why with his latest work with “Easy” by Real Estate, featuring the Internet’s Jake Fogelnest getting assaulted and more.
