Wow, another great podcast. Loved this guy first on the Todd Glass Show and then in Pop My Culture. I watched one of the Cram episodes on youtube for the first time after the PMC podcast and it was suprisingly great (atleast Graham). So glad this became something so different from the two previously mentioned, hilarious interview/ episodes.
Just reminds me of the need to remember those soldiers there and to keep realising that First World Problems aren’t that important. I’ll probably keep this in my tiny mp3 player for a long time since there’s alot of different things to get from this episode. Great job Nerdcast and Graham Elwood for bringing smiles to those in War.

crazy thing about the “hitting the post” and Sirius DJ’s, Alt Nations Madison, and jarod, whatever his nasally name is, are all over the place. BUT on Sinatra on Sundays there is a guy, the undisputed King of Post nastiness, that will LITERALLY roll past the post for about 2 songs on average (I’ve heard him go for 45 minutes, starting with lines like “I remember the day I 1st heard this song”) regaling the poor listener with tales of the Dodgers when they were in NY, or other wierd crap. It is the most painful piece of radio hosting I have ever heard.
And Oh yeah, restepo is an awesome movie. That was an intense documenary.
Once again great podcast. I can say from personal experience that comedians like him are often times the best relief during a deployment. My first comedy show was midway though my first deployment. Its guys like him that makes a world of difference when overseas.
Thanks for this podcast. I think it’s important to get the message out there that PTSD is a real thing. I think so many people think it’s “just an excuse” or that it’s one of the “made up” conditions people have nowadays…it’s not. It’s very real, and very difficult to deal with, and the more people that speak out on behalf of the people who are dealing with it post-deployment the better. Thanks, graham. Thanks, Nerdist.
