I’m your nerd host, Chris Hardwick
Nerdist is a place where we nerds come together and share the nerdery that we find. It's also my home to various elements of the Nerdist Empire. You might recognize me from TV. You don't realize that's where you know me from, but it is. You think you went to college with me or I look like your cousin's friend, but that is not the case. At one time or another you stumbled upon me on your moving picture box in such cerebral gems as MTV's "Singled Out" and Noam Chomsky's "Shipmates." and so much more...

I hope the name of the URL doesn’t give away what the food of interest is this week, unless it’s that type of feast.
I LOVE THIS PODCAST!!!
But, who the FUCK kept kicking the furniture throughout the episode? SOOOOO annoying.
(the sirens and horns are a little annoying too but easier to ignore…)
Otherwise this is a fantastic show.
I think this is my favorite podcast. I recently listned to almost every previous episode in the past few days. Mike is the Yin to Tom’s Yang; they work well together. They fit. Chinese things make me laugh. Also, Yin doesn’t seem to be different from Yang. Honestly… i probably couldn’t tell ya which one’s which.
My point is– they’re good. But also bad. Like 90′s not-bad bad,
…i wish I was a snack,,,
How did you guys manage to keep talking through all that background noise? It sounded like you were on a building site. Could it be the construction of a new MATES WWHQ skyscraper?
Pork rinds! Superbowl episode! Boom, pew pew peew, berchm berchm berchm. Storm troopers hitting the ground.
As a loyal viewer (wait, I know I am not a viewer, lets just get that out of the way right now) – uh, I don’t have a comment except the mysteriousity of the snack is lost when I right click to download the podcast – its right there in the name
Wow…so they really just talk about snacks the whole time??!?! Why do I LOVE IT so much! Just discovered it since its move to Nerdist. Good grab guys. Glad Nerdist is doing so well
holy crow fellas that was a good episode but could you maybe record it in a place that ain’t tom’s downtown apartment parking garage. so much background noise makes it hard to concentrate on the wordplay, sexism, and goofoffery what we’ve come to …uhm, enjoy?
I love the veggie booty. But maybe I just really like kale dust. Anyone know where I can get a supply of kale dust.
Love the show guys.
A loyal listener
Are you guys still taking snack requests? If so, here’s my idea: you each bring in your kids’ favorite snacks and rate them. Don’t assume you know what your kids would pick because they are fickle. Consult with them and have them TELL YOU what their favorite snack are (they can each only pick one). Would you guys like what they like? Let’s find out! I’d be curious to know if there are any genetic predispositions at play. Also, I just did a review of your podcast for my mommy blog and you guys got the top ranking! Check it out: http://www.iamamess.com/top-5-podcasts/
I love listening!
boom puff pow ahhhh my ears
BEST SHOW EVER
I love listening to you while i’m working at home.
i laugh so loud that the neighbours all think i’m crazy! hoorai!
I miss you Mike and Tom! Where have you been? *pout* It’s been almost two weeks! I’m having “storm troopers hittin’ the ground” withdrawal.
FYI You guys really brighten my week. I didn’t know your show was out there until you came to Nerdist, which is unfortunate, but on the upside, I did get to listen to all the back episodes en masse
And of course, like a loyal viewer (cough), I’d like to make a snack suggestion. It came from my grandpa, it’s one of his favorite things. Original Ritz crackers with Peter Pan peanut butter and a slice of pepperoni. I’m pretty sure it would make my life if you picked it. Everyone in our family has looked at him funny more than once for eating it, right up until we try it, then we get it.
So, to summarize, I miss you guys, you rule, and my grandpa is not as crazy as he sounds.
Bye!
No, no, no – Veggie Booty is actually kind of awesome! It’s just, well, I wanted to scream through my iPod that you need to eat a couple of mouthfuls for the “more, more, mooooorrrre…” feeling to kick in.
Also, weirdly enough, it’s a documented thing that toddlers LOVE Veggie Booty:
