I’m your nerd host, Chris Hardwick
Nerdist is a place where we nerds come together and share the nerdery that we find. It's also my home to various elements of the Nerdist Empire. You might recognize me from TV. You don't realize that's where you know me from, but it is. You think you went to college with me or I look like your cousin's friend, but that is not the case. At one time or another you stumbled upon me on your moving picture box in such cerebral gems as MTV's "Singled Out" and Noam Chomsky's "Shipmates." and so much more...

I might have an answer to a question unrelated to this podcast but completley related to Nerdist Industries……The voice of Marvin E. Quasniki….i will come back here tomorow with the answer, and if the lords of the dance(Chris or Katie) would like me to keep my mouth shut just let me know . I dont want to piss off the people involved with the campaign and the people i respect. im just gidddy with knowing before i believe anyone else listener wise. anyhoo TIRAHHH Till Tomorah!!!!
just so it doesnt seem like im blowing smoke a hint that should give it away to those that matter( website runners that is) He has been on the podcast sooner rather than later and has preformed on Doug loves movies more regularly than rare…..
I am finally getting off my butt and doing something. I took announcing classes in college as part of the Mass Communications program. I took an acting class in high school. I have worked on community theater plays. I have books on voice acting. I put 2 quick videos of myself on YouTube.
Another winning show. Big Pop Fun continues to be the best reason to come to Nerdist.
Hi,
This was a fun interview to listen too! I really like your attitude James. I came to voice-acting a little later in life but it’s something that I always did but just never knew earlier on how to get into it. Things are going alright so far and I won’t stop now! I will read your book on positive thinking as soon as it hits the shelves!
Ewan McGregor played Obi-Wan Kenobi in episodes 1-3. Also, you may have only seen 50% of the Star Wars movies, but you’ve seen 100% of the good Star Wars movies.
