Happy Early Christmas, Nerds!

Fresh on the heels of The Dark Knight Rises trailer, posted by Mr. Simon on Monday, comes this amazing piece of precious; the official first trailer of The Hobbit: An Unexpected Journey, the first of two new Middle Earth movies from Peter Jackson based on J.R.R. Tolkien’s classic novel. Check it out!

Amazing, right?!!? Can’t wait for it. Well, I mean I can wait a year I guess.

  4. Okay, so I might be way taking this way too seriously or being too much of a nerd about this, but I want to wait until I see Tin-Tin to see the trailer. This is a really serious moment for me as a self-professed full-blown Tolkien nerd, and I want to see it on the big screen when I see it for the first time.

  7. I grew up watching the cartoon version of ‘The Hobbit’ because I took it as a sequel to Willow ( they both had red hair and were short compared to everyone else around them and plus I was like 5). I can’t wait to see fhis movie!

  10. Oh my. Oh my, where did I leave that copy of the Hobbit. It’s been 10 years at least since I read it last. This reminds me that it is time to read it again.

  12. I defy any true fan of Middle Earth lore to not get goosebumps upon seeing Thorin and then hearing that ominous chant. Cannot fucking wait.
