I’m your nerd host, Chris Hardwick

Nerdist is a place where we nerds come together and share the nerdery that we find. It's also my home to various elements of the Nerdist Empire. You might recognize me from TV. You don't realize that's where you know me from, but it is. You think you went to college with me or I look like your cousin's friend, but that is not the case. At one time or another you stumbled upon me on your moving picture box in such cerebral gems as MTV's "Singled Out" and Noam Chomsky's "Shipmates." and so much more...

You guys rock. Love the blog. The podcast is bordering an addiction now in my life.
What is the most wanted guest you haven’t had on yet?
Personally, I’d love it if you could get LeVar Burton on podcast.
My goal now is to find someway to watch the Nerdist pilot on a Zenith television set.
Every time Chris mentions his book I go to Amazon to buy it so I can download it on my Kindle and read on my lunch break, only to see again that it doesn’t come out until November. Not sure why I can’t commit that to long-term memory…
We get a channel called Antenna TV that shows lots of old 60′s and 70′s shows. They show Maude. I’d never seen it before, although I’d heard of it. It’s still pretty funny. See if you guys get this channel: http://www.antennatv.tv/
Mirabooey!
Dear Chris Hardwick and your Alliance of Awesome,
My life has not been great lately. I could go into the whiney list of things why it sucks, but that is not the purpose of this comment. Your podcast this week helped to show that there might be light down the tunnel and that there is something to be hopeful for.
Thank you,
Chappa
I am glad that is all cleared up, it didn’t occur to me that you would take that as criticism of you.
Computers+creative passion = vulnerability +assholes = pretty good reason to be on guard even when it ain’t needed.
haha, Tom, then that would make the statement from the podcast “This Zenith of Moments brought to you by Zenith” a reality, but only if they bring back Zenith of Moments for the tv show..also, it would be meta if they did. Am I rambling again?
this is for the guy looking for open mics in the bay area. go to this website. this has the best open mics in every major city. enjoy.

Podcast’s sounding much clearer this eps. much clearer listing on my way back from work. Thanks.
Did Bachmann’s “fans” really try to change the John Adams wiki? Because Sarah Palin’s “fans” tried to change the Paul Revere wiki when she said that he was “ringing those bells to warn the British” – are these people out their damn minds??
Chris,
I hear you always complaining about not being able to fix Wikipedia facts about you… Well, I have an answear: Twitter. It’s a varified account and time stamped. Bam!
enjoy yo self/burrito.
Ryan
PS tell J-Ray I enjoyed his Country Mice music advice.
I heard Chris mention in an earlier podcast *pretty sure it was the hostful episode before this one* something about taking the show out on the road.
Soooooo would do I have to do to get you guys to bring it here to Iowa City? Hopefully nothing toooooo messy, but, we all do what we can.

YES! PLEASE HAVE JEFF DAVIS ON THE PODCAST!!!
Re-listening to the epi and just had to wonder about the Michael Richards and OJ pairing: did anyone else immediately think of the Sly and the Family Stone song ” Don’t call me n****r, whitey” (edited for sensitivity)? But then I realized that no one is old enough to to know the song. Zenith of Moments FAIL!
Dear Chris, Matt, and Jonah,
What do you guys think of Daniel Tosh (plus his Comedy Central show, “Tosh.0″) and Gabriel Iglesias? They’re two of the most popular comedians at my school right now, but I don’t see why people like them so much! At least my classmates are finally over Dane Cook and Jeff Dunham, I guess.
From,
Me.
Hey guys,
I love the show. I’m a LA native
living in japan and the combination of LA culture and nerd talk helps with the occasional bouts of homesickness. That having been said, the founding fathers comment confused me. If a founding father is defined as someone who signed the Declaration of Imdependence then John Adams is definetly a founding father. I would suggest checking out his biography by David McCullough. Not that this in anyway validates Bachman, but it’s worth noting. Anyway, keep up the good work, thanks guys!
