Star Wars x Muppets Action Figures
by Danny Damore on June 3, 2011
O.K., so this is how it’s going down. $18.95 for a 2 pack, 4 different packs, due out this fall in Disney parks. Is everyone else as excited as I am to spend $80?
Click through for some more info and pics
According to UGO:
The two-packs will be sold like this: Kermit the Frog (Luke Skywalker) and Miss Piggy (Princess Leia), Beaker (C-3PO) and Dr. Bunsen Honeydew (R2-D2), Link Hogthrob (Han Solo) and Fozzie Bear (Chewbacca), and the most winningest pack, Sam the Eagle (!) (Obi-Wan Kenobi) and Gonzo (Darth Vader), who comes with his chicken Camilla dressed up as a Stormtrooper with a removable helmet.

Yes yes yes yes, a thousand times YES!
Oh lordy. MUST HAVE!
Why isn’t Kermit Han? Are the suggesting that Miss Piggy/Leia has been lusting after her broooooh wait…
I don’t think a 22 year old male should ever sqweee like I just did.
While I will definitely pick up the Obi/Vader set, a grave oversight was made when choosing who’s who. Kermit and Piggy would be siblings in this mash-up. Space incest ftl.
SOLD!
Muppet/Star Wars Crossover Movie!
* Piiiiiggggggssss innnnnnn spacccceeeeeee.
* kermit sings “It aint easy being Tatooine”.
* Vader mask comes off revealing CGI Jim Henson saying “Kermit…i am your creator”.
* Jar Jar remains however voice is redubbed with Sweedish Chef.
* Frank Oz does cameo in Canteen Bar scene…Miss Piggy and Yoda walk buy, see frank drinking, turn like they’re going to speak, but say nothing and walk away.
* Harry Belafonte cameo with Ewoks…starts to sing Ewok song but quickly changes over to “Turn the World Around”.
* Gonzo plays Greedo. After Han shoots him a bunch of chickens run up crying (led by, of course, carmella).
Ahhhhhhh!! Beaker!!!!!
I do love that Beaker and Dr. Bunsen are R2 and C3PO but the irony is killing me.
If you go to the Star Trader shop in Disneyland/Disneyworld, previous versions of the Muppets/Star Wars action figures are already on sale.
It’s a shame that the prototyped toys from back when Palisades Toys had the Muppets license never came to be. They were producing some amazingly detailed toys (and playsets) and their Muppets Star Wars figures were going to be amazing. Unfortunately, they never got the green light for them before the company went under.
This is the best. I love this so much
Man, I literally just agreed to sell my Palisades Toys sets and figures
and make room for my Kids’ crappy toys…
speaking of which anyone want to buy’em?
Just as we recast this movie, you show us this…better than we could have ever done.
I picked up the core set about 2 years ago in Disney. Now I am very happy to see them expanded.
Do not forget the price of admission. So around 200 bucks.
DO WANT DO WANT
Shouldn’t Rowlf be Chewbacca? Meh, they did it like that on Muppet Babies…whatevs
THIS is the greatest thing I have ever seen!!!1
Did these come out yet? I can’t seem to find them online in their stores.
