Oh, yeah, there’s this trailer, and stick it out all the way until the end:
You didn’t think I was gonna post a sappy rom-com trailer here, did you?

Nerdist is a place where we nerds come together and share the nerdery that we find. It's also my home to various elements of the Nerdist Empire. You might recognize me from TV. You don't realize that's where you know me from, but it is. You think you went to college with me or I look like your cousin's friend, but that is not the case. At one time or another you stumbled upon me on your moving picture box in such cerebral gems as MTV's "Singled Out" and Noam Chomsky's "Shipmates." and so much more...

Haha. Excellent.
YES!!!!
I have been waiting for news on this movie for a while. Did not expect a trailer.
*runs around house*
Got to see some of this being filmed in Hollywood a few months ago. I got to see Segel and Adams singing and dancing with two certain famous people from the trailer. My heart swelled with joy.
I guess we don’t get to see Jason Siegel’s shlong in this movie. Too bad, so sad.
Fozzie you lovable bastard I’ve missed you lets hang out and relax out friend
Oh my god, I have to see this
Awesome. Love Amy Adams and Jason Segal, and probably would have seen it because of them. BUT WITH FREAKING MUPPETS! AOSJLF:DUS:CNWONUENCMXLASM *Head Asplode*
oh so so so so happy and excited.
yaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaay!!!
ANNNIMMAALLLLL!!!
I was not expecting that. Been waiting for this movie since I first heard Segal was writing it
“what do you get when you mix the Atlantic with the Titanic… Halfway” Fozzie the Bear. I always liked your jokes.
I loved the narrator. “Kermit the F…Frog?”
Fantasic! Love the idea of doing the trailer like that! Go Muppets!
OH MY GOD!!!
My younger inner geek just wept a silent tear of joy for this.
My outer older geek just flailed like a muppet with joy for this.
Guess which one looked creepier?
I was excited for this, and then I heard that the Flight of the Conchords guys were writing the songs (Bret and co-creator of the HBO series, not Jemaine). That pushed me from excited to silly, crazy, can’t-wait excited!
Miss Piggy looks fantastic. Like Kim Cattrall. Oh, dear.
Where do you post all of your rom-com trailers?
I’ll never tell.
Oooohhh. I see what you did, there.
Outstanding!
everything is right with the world now
I thoroughly enjoyed that. I was even able to handle the earlier portions easily enough because Amy Adams is quite easy on the eyes. Rawr.
More proof that everything is better with Muppets
It’s entitled, “Green with Envy.” I’m really hoping for a love triangle involving Kermit the Frog. Drama!
Yes sir, this looks awesome.
@Eileen~ Maybe they’ll blow up his shlong at the end of the movie??
The original Muppet Movie is an absolute timeless classic. (as is the original Muppet Show). That being said, the movies that followed were enjoyable but not even close. Im hoping that Segal and co found a way to recapture the magic of the original and introduce it to a whole new generation. Man it’ll be great to have the Muppet gang back!
“someday we’ll find it…the rainbow connection….the lovers…the dreamers…and me……..”
3tof
@Three Toes…. Jim Henson was a very adult person (and Frank Oz too) who happened to like making entertainment for kids. If you watched Kermit on the Tonight Show back when Henson was still alive he was extremely funny and sophisticated. After Henson died and things like Barney (turn and spit) started making piles o’ cash the Muppet coordinators seemed to buy in to all the sensory overload fluff that now exists. I too became increasingly disappointed in the subsequent Muppet movies. Jason Segel, however, seems to be requisitely adult and subversive. Hopefully the Muppets are back.
Is it wrong that I hope it’s a PG so there can be cheekier jokes? (Not Kermit and Rowlf watching 2G1C cheeky, but still…)
hahaha…funny -__-
